Mbabane: Coronavirus is starting to hover menacingly its ugly head on football.
Two Sudan Football Association officials have been killed by Covid-19 according to CAF Online. With a reported 165 faculties in that country to date, two are the officials.
According to CAF, tributes have begun pouring in after the passing away of the two officials, Khair Al-Sayed Abdelgader, Chairman of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee and Faisal Youseif, Vice Chairman of the National Teams Committee.
Abdelgader died on 12 May 2020, and Youseif six days later. CAF extended condolences to the SFA and the bereaved families for the loss of the two officials, whilst praying for God’s strength during this difficult period.
