ESWATINI, 2 November 2020 – West Pack Lifestyle is set to open its first store in the Kingdom of Eswatini on Thursday 19 November, at Malkerns Square. With more than 60 West Pack stores across Sub-Saharan Africa, West Pack Express Malkerns will meet the growing need by shoppers for better value for money products for the home, business, schools, churches, small businesses and catering sectors.
The new store, situated at Malkerns Square in Malkerns, will add a new world class brand to the iconic residential and commercial estate . The store will be managed by Sharon Dlamini, who has significant experience in retail and who will be joining West Pack from from Pick n Pay Mbabane to lead the new West Pack Express Malkerns team. “Having just spent six weeks training at the West Pack’s head office in Johannesburg, South Africa, I am so excited to introduce West Pack’s unique retail concept and outstanding customer service to Eswatini. Shoppers can look forward to great value for money combo deals, bigger quantities and better prices for home, office and school essentials,” said Sharon.

The opening day of West Pack Express Malkerns will see face painters for the kids, local DJ and opening specials not to be missed. West Pack Express will also be making a donation to the Lamahhina local Eswatini Care Centre (Soup Kitchen) in Mbabane that also assists with basic education for early childhood development (ECD) of orphans and other vulnerable children. The donation from two of West Pack’s stationery partners, National Stationery and Freedom Stationery, includes Typek paper, erasers, scissors, coloured pencils, whiteboards and other educational materials for 80 children – all of which West Pack Lifestyle offers in-store.
Customers who shop in-store on opening day will be entered into a lucky draw to participate in a famous West Pack Trolley Dash. The winner will have 60 seconds to fill their trolley with as much as they can fit, up to a total value of E1000.
