Schools Online subscribers to access learning activities through Eswatini Mobile e-School Data

Mbabane: Following calls for a sustainable data plan for learners and teachers, Schools Online, an organization that offers online learning services to schools has partnered with Eswatini Mobile on a deal for a data plan that will allow learners to study online at affordable rates.

Under the plan, learners and teachers will get 5GB for the whole month at E20. Such a bundle has been made affordable to enable learners to keep accessing their school’s online platforms namely school forums, class lessons, exam and test activities as well as revisions.

Speaking on the deal Schools Online Director Lungelo Dlamini voiced his excitement about the development as data plan for access to schools online has always been a hurdle for schools online users.

He said learners who have not yet got their Eswatini Mobile sim cards, are advised to first contact schools online for their sim cards so that they can be directed on where to get them and also have their numbers registered with schools online so it will be enabled for the 5GB Eswatini Mobile E-school data.

He said for those learners and teachers that have Eswatini Mobile sin cards already, they are advised to contact schools online so they have their sim card numbers enable for the data plan.

“Our subscribers will now have ease of access to school’s online content without a deep in their pockets in their quest for quality education, which is what is always at our hearts, in uplifting the standard of education in our county.

Eswatini Mobile’s Charles Ndlovu couldn’t hide his excitement as well. “We are happy to partner with Schools Online; an education product that has proven its worth over the years, as our promise to keep Emaswati happy about our service, we couldn’t be more excited to bring this data plan for schools and subscribers under the school’s online program.”
