Mbabane: Prime Minister Ambrose Dlamini says the Royal Science & Tech Park (RSTP) is crucial in setting Eswatini on a path towards harnessing technology to advance innovation & create wealth. The PM has been speaking at the conclusion of his tour of RSTP structures in Nokwane & Phocweni.

RSTP is made up of two divisions located at Phocweni & Nokwane. Located at Phocweni is Songcondvongcondvo weMaswati House which is the hub for information technology driven services & products. It houses the Advanced School of IT, National Call Centre, National Data Centre, e-Governance Centre & IT Business Incubator.
The under construction Biotechnology Park located at Nokwane will house a Biotechnology Research Centre, Incubation Facility, Service Centre & Biotech Incubator.
Dlamini said as the country forge ahead with the work of advancing technology, it is important to assess if still on the right track to realizing a return on investment, creating opportunities for Emaswati to thrive through science and technology and allow businesses to grow and remain relevant in an ever changing world, through the efficient use of technology.
Prime Minister said the advent of the 4th industrial revolution means countries and people who do not adapt to new technologies and restructure and enhance their technological skills to accommodate new innovations will be left behind.
