Manzini: Taiwan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Eswatini Jeremy Liang has donated food hampers to 100 emaSwati under the Manzini Constituency.
Other than the food hampers. Ambassador Liang, on behalf of the Taiwanese government donated wheel chairs and walking sticks.
Receiving on behalf of Manzini North Inkhundla Member of Parliament Macford Sibandze thanked the Republic of China on Taiwan for its continued support of the country for 52 years.
The food hampers were donated to 100 people who were represented due to the 20 social distancing regulations. The ambassador said they will continue supporting the community to ease the heavy load on government especially in the coronavirus era.
This is the third time in over 18 months Manzini North receives donations from Taiwan. Sibandze has been in a huge drive to reach out and touch so many people since he returned from 37 days of Isolation due to COVID-19.
In a country that is in recession, this donations have been able to put food on the table of more than 500 people in just less than 10 days. Sibandze said he will continue his social enterprise and requested other people to assist.
