Mbabane: Eswatini has recorded 203 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, along with three (3) new deaths.
This latest updates takes the total number of confirmed cases in the country ever since the outbreak to 12 327 and the death toll to 335.
The country, much like many other nations across the globe, is in the grips of a second wave of the pandemic.
With Hhohho Region being identified as the new epicentre of the pandemic in the Kingdom, having recorded 5 241 cases in total. The region is followed by Manzini region with 5 032 cases and Lubombo and Shiselweni regions have recorded 11 01 and 953 cases respectively.
Global infections have also surpassed the 90 million mark
The world have recorded 1,993,439 deaths as of Thursday, 14 January 2021, along with 93,103,580 cases.
