Now, let us dialogue- KING

Lobamba: With the limited period and evident many pressing issues, His Majesty King Mswati III has suggested that the dialogue must spread to the different Chiefdoms and Constituencies instead of waiting for the next Sibaya.

The king said evidently the nation was hungry for such a platform but have been prevented by the noble COVID-19 in previous years. He added that the innovation of zoom interactions as introduced in Sibaya, enabled Emaswati from overseas to drive a point across, which can equate to the positives that came with COVOD-19.

With COVID-19 way behind the nation, His Majesty King Mswati III also declared the day-to-day difficulties of Emaswati a national emergency.

He noted that wages as per Sibaya submissions did not match the expensive items in different shops. He noted that Emaswati also are desparate for jobs and all these difficulties needed answers.

“Some government issues like Regional Development Fund, Micro Projects and the Youth Fund are some that are meant to eradicate hunger issues and enhance service delivery. Emaswati have submitted that these initiatives do not reach or help their needs,” he said.

The king said these issues needed urgent ttention for the betterment of the nation hence the need of a Prime Minister that will hit the ground running.
