Mbabane-The Prime Minister of Eswatini Cleopas Sipho Dlamini has announced an appointment and redeployment of Principal Secretaries. In a statement he informed the nation that “it has pleased His Majesty King Mswati III to command that we announce the following appointments of Principal Secretaries with immediate effect.”
Phesheya David Dube has been appointed Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology. Newman Sizwe Ntshangase has been appointed Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Sydney Boy Simelane has been appointed has been appointed Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture.
The following Principal Secretaries have been transferred. Makhosini Mndawe has been transferred from Principal Secretary at the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. Melusi Masuku has been transferred from Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.
The appointment of Maxwell Masuku as Principal Secretary at the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology is revoked.

On another note, His Majesty King Mswati III has appointed Philemon Fana Mnisi as the Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini (Umntjoli wemaSwati) effective 1 July 2022 for a period not exceeding five years.
Other significant appointments that have been endorsed by King Mswati III are as follows. Mathendele Dlamini has been appointed into the Ludzidzini Council while former Senate President Gelane Zwane has been appointed into Liqoqo along with Prince Gcina. Princess Gcebile, Prince Zabeni and Sigombeni Dlamini have been appointed to Senate. Prince Gcokoma and Justice Nxumalo have been appointed to the Land Management Board and Border Restoration Committee.
