Mbabane: Swaziland National Association of Teachers (SNAT) Secretary General Sikelela Dlamini has tested positive for COVID-19.
SNAT President Mbongwa Dlamini revealed this through a statement issued on Tuesday, January 05, 2021, where he said the Secretary General was diagnosed on Monday, January 04 by medical doctors.
The educators’ union President said Dlamini (Secretary General) was asymptomatic and he was currently in isolation for 10 days and he was receiving Home care as per doctor’s instructions.
The President further requested the General Membership of fully adhere and comply with the pieces of advice and protocols issued by the Health Department with regard to COVID-19. These, amongst others include;
- Wearing a mask consistently and correctly
- Washing hands with soap and running water for at least 30 seconds or use alcohol based sanitizer
- Avoid the 3Cs; Closed space with poor ventilation, crowded spaces, and closed contact settings.
- Avoiding unnecessary travelling
