Mbabane: The Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Finance Sizakele Dlamini has been appointed as member of the Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation (EPTC).
Dlamini was appointed alongside two other members, namely Mr. Mpendulo Mazibuko and Moses Zungu.
Announcing the new board member for EPTC the minister said, “in accordance with section 6 of the public enterprise act of 1989 and section 4 of Act No. 11 of 1983 that established the Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation, I am delighted to appoint the following to fill the vacant positions on the EPTC board for the period not exceeding there (3) years with effect from the 1st of September 2020 namely; Mr. Mpendulo Mazibuko – Member, Ms Sizakele Dlamini -member, as well as Mr. Moses Zungu – member”.
According to the minister the newly appointed member will join the existing board, filling positions that have been vacant and will in office for a period not exceeding 3 years.

Ms Collette Bhembe – Member
Ms Celiwe Mabuza – Member

Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation (EPTC) is a parastatal under the ministry of Information Communications Technology (ICT) and with a vision to create a knowledge based and digitally inclusive society. The vision encompasses knowledge sharing and rapidly improving connectivity and platform for development of technologies and standards.
Commissioning the board the minister said the board is tasked to ensure that the entity’s mandate is attained diligently and effectively. The minister said the board has a responsibility to govern in a manner in which will give rise to technological growth, advancement and efficient provision of services.
He encouraged the boar to work together to ensure that the development and the works of the entity are responsive to the Kingdoms challenges and strengths.
