Mbabane: Minister of Public Works and Transport Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently in isolation where he is closely managed by doctors.
Acting Government’s Spokesperson Sabelo Dlamini issued a statement on Saturday evening revealing that during a routine testing for all Cabinet Ministers on Tuesday it came out that Minister Chief Ndlaluhlaza Ndwandwe has tested positivefor COVID-19.
Dlamini said all the other Cabinet Ministers tested negative and they have started working from home with immediate effect. Dlamini said the Ministers will hold virtual meetings for the progression of their work during the isolation period. He added that they will be tested again while in isolation. However he is not the first parliamentarian to be tested positive following Manzini North MP Macford Sibandze who was later cleared as a COVID-19 survivor.
