According to an informed source, over 10 former EBC officers including former Chairman, Chief Gija, were not paid their ex-gratia after serving in the committee for 11 years.
The main concern raised by the officers is that some were paid while some were not, despite being reappointed to other positions at the same time.
One such person who received his ex-gratia is former deputy commissioner, Ncumbi Maziya, who allegedly received his money after re-appointment.
