More local TV content on the pipeline as Eswatini TV, MTN join hands

Eswatini TV Marketing Manager Siboniso Mawelela unpacking the product during the official lunch

Mbabane: Giant Telecommunication Company in the country, MTN Eswatini partnered with Eswatini TV for the groundbreaking and innovative application, Eswatini TV App.

This innovative partnership will allow more space for local content as the app according to Eswatini TV Marketing Manager Siboniso Mawelela will come with your drama series, sports, and your comedy nights. “It is a great innovation in the sense that it will enhance the industry by creating more job opportunities for local producers”, elaborated Mawelela.

He said the Application will not only deliver local content in demand but also live TV on the go as it happens on traditional TV.

Mawelela also promised that Eswatini TV will be engaging more local producers to produce more content that will go into the application.

This now means EmaSwati will no longer have to own a Television set in order to watch Eswatini TV. The Application will also allow EmaSwati to watch television on their mobile phones.

The application is among many offerings that MTN Eswatini launched on Friday under the campaign umbrella “Do The Most”.

“Do The Most” is a campaign that MTN Eswatini will be using as it navigates the first quarter of 2021. MTN Eswatini Chief marketing officer said the campaign will come with new promotions tailored for MTN customers which will enable them to do the most within the MTN Network.
