Photography Enthusiast Launches Campaign to buy a Canon EOS6D Mark II Camera

Photographer Sikhanyiso Dlamini well known as Creativ S. Dlamini

Mbabane: Tapping in the field of creative photography Sikhanyiso Dlamini well known as Creativ S. Dlamini  in his social circles has launched a campaign where he is asking for donations from the public to help him buy a Canon EOS 6D Mark II [DSLR] Camera.

Speaking to this publication about the #HelpMeBuyACanonEOS6DMarkII, Dlamini said he does not have a camera, he always survived by borrowing or renting one. He said he was appealing to the public to at least donate E50 or more towards raising money to buy the Canon EOS 6D Mark II camera which costs about E25 000.00 in dealers in the neighboring South Africa.

Dlamini who is passionate about photography said he needs the camera to advance his photography career. He said the camera will benefit one of his active projects known as The Other Project OBWF. According to Dlamini this is a Manzini based outdoor outing initiative ushering nature enthusiasts to a whole new hiking experience around the Kingdom of Eswatini. The hiking initiative seeks to create a safe space for nature enthusiasts with an appetite for heights, diverse indigenous flora and scenic views around the Kingdom.

It is through this initiative that the camera is mostly needed. To take pictures showcasing the beauty of the Kingdom during the hiking initiatives.

“If only I can get 500 people each contributing E50 this can be achieved. The reason I want this camera is that I consider it as a latest and superior Canon model. Cameras change now and then but an investment in this one would be great and it can last for many years before it is outdated.”“In my ventures, I seek to source original material to canvas my designs, to preserve and keep a record of every hiking session; and such has been going on with rented cameras”.

“Canon’s reputation in camera built quality, color science and lens assortment precedes them all. Such an investment will without doubt not only propel my practice in photography but also serve greatly in bringing the Kingdom of Eswatini’s landscape to the digital space for everyone to access at the comfort of their home towns and convenience of their smartphones through The Other Project OBWF mountain hiking exercises, an initiative seeking to showcase the Kingdom of Eswatini.

The Canon EOS 6D Mark II Camera

According to the canon website the Canon EOS 6D Mark II camera puts full-frame performance into a compact, with a fully featured DSLR. It has 26.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7 Image Processor help deliver amazing results. The EOS 6D Mark II also features an impressive optical viewfinder with 45 all cross-type AF points, fast and accurate Dual Pixel CMOS AF and a Vari-angle Touch Screen LCD for Live View operation which helps create unique angles. With the EOS 6D Mark II’s speed to capture action and the versatility to create phenomenal photographs and Full HD 60p videos in numerous environments and lighting situations, the camera offers creative content makers a winning combination of advanced features in a portable package that’s as fun as it is powerful.

Contributions towards the campaign can be made to +268 7685 6660 and referenced as “Secure A Canon.” Contributions larger than E500 will be considered for a (i) Two-Hour-Photoshoot at the Contributor’s desired location and/or (ii) Space-Reservation-For-Two to The Other Project OBWF’s mountain hiking exercises.
