Mbabane: The postponement of the awards brought an opportunity for more sponsors as Inhlonhla has injected E20, 000 towards the awards to sponsor two categories, the Gospel Song of the year and Gospel Classic of All Times.
The sponsorship announcement event was held at the Inhlonhla boardroom on Thursday morning, in an event graced by the presence of Eswatini National Arts and Culture (ENAC) Chief Executive Officer Stanley Dlamini, Association of Christian Artists of Eswatini (ACAESWA) President Phetsile Masilela and Inhlonhla Management.
Speaking during the sponsorship event Inhlonhla Marketing Manager Nathi Van-Zuydam said as Inhlonhla they were excited to get the opportunity to sponsor the Awards.
“Inhlonhla is very excited and proud about participating in this year’s Gospel Awards”. “Our participation will be in sponsoring two categories, which will be named after Inhlonhla. Namely; Inhlonhla Gospel song of the year and Inhlonhla Gospel classic of all times.
Van-Zuydam said on behalf of Inhlonhla’s Board of Directors and Management they were exited to present a Cheque of E20 000, 00 Emalangeni, towards the two categories. He said through ACAESWA, they saw an opportunity to use the Awards, as a platform to promote an exciting new product, which will be revealed in the near future.
Accepting the sponsorship, ACAESWA President Phetsile Masilela thanked Inhlonhla for their generosity and support towards the awards.
She highlighted that as the organizing committee they have been working tirelessly to ensure that the event was a success. Despite postponements, they were very proud to note that some sponsors have come through to seize the opportunity.
Masilela noted that the awards will take place on November 28, 200 at the woodlands conference hall in Ezulwini.
She urged artists to continue voting as the voting lines were still open, and encouraged fans who want to be part of the event to purchase tickets earlier which are available online on the ACAESWA website.
Making his remarks Arts and Culture CEO Stanley Dlamini also thanked the sponsorship saying they were looking forward into having a long term relationship with Inhlonhla. He assured that as per preparations all COVID-19 protocols will be followed during the proceedings of the event.
