‘In The Room’ online worship show a success

Gospel Artist Frans Mkhaliphi

Mbabane: Gospel artist, worshiper and author of a book “The Heart of a Worshiper”,   Frans Mkhaliphi has successfully hosted his first virtual show dubbed “In the Room”.

The show was supported by Evolve Studios and was live on Evolve Studios Facebook page. The 54 minutes live show attracted over one 1500 live viewers.

Born in Nhlanano, Mashobeni South and now based in Matsapha, the 25 years old Frans Mkhaliphi goes to Jesus Calls Worship Centre in Matsapha.

Speaking to this publication Mkhaliphi said, he belies he was born a worshiper. He said God gave him a voice and talent and he believes praise and worship is one of his ministry he was brought for.

Called for worship, Mkhaliphi said he really felt a need in his spirit of reaching out to quite a bigger number of people and make declarations because there’s power in declarations. “Although we were in different locations watching virtually but spiritually we were in the same room with my audience” he said.

Reacting on the number of live viewers Mkhaliphi said he was impressed the show got so many viewers live and he thanked Evolve Studios, for the production and live streaming of the event. He said the show wouldn’t be successful without the massive support he got from Evolve Studios who made it possible for the show to be streamed live.

Responding after the show he said most of the songs he did during the live worship were mainly declarations, “I was actually sharing my whole heart as the songs were my personal compositions” he said. My audience really fell in love with my song “Utenta Kahle Tonkhe Tintfo” which I’m preparing to drop as one of my first singles very soon.

Speaking about the theme of the show Mkhaliphi said the concept was derived from the bible. “In this room” is simply about the disciples gathering in the upper room when the Holy Spirit fell upon them. Now that we have come to Glory days as the church, I believe we have also come to that room where nothing is impossible. That’s where the whole idea of “In this room” came from (Acts 2:1)

Mkhaliphi also shared briefly about his book, “The Heart of a Worshiper”, which is already available on Amazon. “It’s a ‘must’ have book for all the worshipers in the land. It touches on all aspects of humanity, as it ushers mankind to the Divine purpose of creation, which is to worship” he said.

Frans Mkhaliphi is not new to music as he started singing at a very young. He told the entertainment desk that he has always been a musical child from way back. “I started playing piano at Form 1, however when I moved to the University of Eswatini (UNESWA) Kwaluseni campus, it became clearer that I am called for worship.”

Mkhaliphi also hinted that he was currently doing 2 singles “More life” and “Utenta kahle tonkhe tintfo” which should be out in November.

He thanked God for being good all the time to him though his music journey. “God is good in and His mercies endureth forever. With all our gifts we have they are for edifying church, they are there as a tool for you to worship God, he said.

Meanwhile Lunga Shongwe, the director of Evolve Studios said it was always at the heart of his company to help the entertainment industry to thrive amid the corona virus pandemic, by delivering the best live productions and live streaming of shows on multiple digital platforms.

He said his company has worked with a number of stakeholders in the industry, live streaming shows and making it possible to get maximum reach. His company has worked with Swazi Boy, Tik Tok Eswatini, Smallz The Comedian, Linda Dlamini, Lockdown Gospel Music awards and many others.
