Mbabane: Liswati actor and comedian S’lwane is set to host an online show dubbed “Growing Up with S’lwane”
“Growing Up with S’lwane” is an up-close-and-personal e-show curated to share the childhood of details, stories and memories of a selection of some of Eswatini’s public figures across all social strata.
The show is slated to play every second Sunday starting from this coming Sunday, for 30 minutes from 17h30 on digital platforms; Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and website: www.smallzthecomedian.com.
The show will also be aired on “InstaLaughs with Smallz The Comedian every Monday and Thursday, 9am and “Siswati Sami, Bungimi Lami – Ligcabho Lami with Gogo” every Wednesday at 7pm.
“Growing Up with S’lwane” is developed by The Merchants of Bottomless Laughter “Smallz The Comedian & Co.”, it will be presented by S’lwane, another member of the four-men comedy collective.
Commenting on his teams new venture Smallz the comedian said this was in line with the long-held commitment to curating and delivering content which seeks to leave our community consistently content, “we are happy to introduce our next e-concept Growing Up with S’lwane, which sees one of our own, the mega-talented S’lwane host his own flagship show in which he will be giving our viewers a VVIP view of some of their childhoods every second Sunday”.
“Critically worth mentioning is that this e-concept and the ones we have recently unveiled are not here to replace our flagship viral skits – but here to complement them for an even better viewing experience for our people and what better time than now to treat people to such a catalog of fun.” He said.
S’lwane born Ncamiso Ntshingila in Motshane is one of Eswatini’s most well-established actors, remembered fondly of his portrayal of Lusekwane in the Khanyisa Crowder produced film “Umjingi Udliwa yiNhlitiyo” as often seen on South Africa’s Mzansi Magic.
The show will see S’lwane host a public figure per show and in each episode, the chosen public figure will take the viewer’s back to their childhood and here, share some of their fondest childhood memories and some other life-shaping details snapped from their formative years.
