Mbabane: Eswatini has recorded 29 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 5 104.
According to the Ministry of Health, 3 people have also succumbed to the virus and the total number of fatalities is now 101.
The recovery rate is at 85.7 percent, meaning that at least 4 374 people have recovered hence the remaining active cases stands at 600.
The ministry reported that the Manzini region has by far the worst hit region having recorded 2 326 cases. Hhohho region comes second with 1 946 cases, Shiselweni and Lubombo regions have recorded 429 and 403 cases respectively.
