Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi has sadly announced one (1) more death taking death toll to 14.
Nkosi made this announcement through a Ministerial statement issued on Tuesday when giving updates on COVID-19 response in Eswatini.
Nkosi said the deceased was a 45 year old female from Hhohho region who had a travel history to South Africa and she reportedly died with 24 hours of admission in one of the health facilities in the country.
On another note Nkosi announced that the number of confirmed cases in Eswatini has increased to 1056 as 45 cases confirmed on Tuesday.
The number of recoveries in has also increased to 570 as six (6) patients cleared of COVID-19 on the same date.
Nkosi further emphasized on regular check up more especially to senior citizens and people with pre-existing illnesses to do regular check ups at least once a year.
She encouraged emaSwati to continue adhering to all health measures given by the ministry of health and World Health Organization, which includes regular washing of hands with running water and soap, practicing social distancing and wearing masks whenever one is going out.
