Mbabane: The total number of cases cleared of COVID-19 in Eswatini now stands at 189 as 21 cases cleared on Sunday.
Total number of confirmed cases stands 285 as two (2) new cases reported to date.
Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi made this announcement at the cabinet offices when giving update about Eswatini response to COVID-19. Nkosi said the ministry received 102 results of which two (2) tested positive while 100 tested negative.
Nkosi said both new cases are from the Manzini which brings the total cases from Manzini to 176.

The recovery rate in Eswatini has increased to 66.3 percent. Nkosi said the increase in the recovery numbers is very encouraging.
Nkosi lauded all frontline healthcare workers have been working tirelessly in treating infected patients in the country. Nkosi also appreciated law enforcement officials who have been assisting the ministry in curbing the spread of the coronavirus in the kingdom as Police have been conducting screening for temperatures during roadblocks that were all over the country.
