Mbabane: The total number of confirmed cases in Eswatini now stands at 283 as four new cases confirmed on Saturday.
Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi made this announcement at the cabinet offices when giving update about Eswatini response to COVID-19. Nkosi said the ministry received 149 results of which four (4) tested positive while 145 tested negative. This records shows that the total number of confirmed cases in Eswatini stands at 283, with a total of 168 recoveries and two (2) deaths.
Nkosi said two (2) of the new cases are from the Manzini region and the other two from Shiselweni and Hhohho regions respectively. This means Manzini has recorded 174 cases, 58 from Hhohho region, 28 from Lubombo and 23 from Shiselweni Region.

Nkosi lauded all frontline healthcare workers have been working tirelessly in treating infected patients in the country. Nkosi also appreciated law enforcement officials who have been assisting the ministry in curbing the spread of the coronavirus in the kingdom as Police have been conducting screening for temperatures during roadblocks that were all over the country.
