Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzie Nkosi has announced six (6) new COVID-19 cases and two recoveries.
The total number of cases now stands at 256 including the 158 recoveries. Nkosi said the ministry received 121 results of which 115 tested negative and six (6) tested positive. Eswatini currently stands with 96 active cases of which 71 are admitted in the hospital, 19 are going under home care treatment and the six new cases are newly registered cases.
All of the new cases are from the Manzini region and most of them are asymptomatic. The youngest of the new cases is a one (1) year old boy.

The public is urged to continue observing all safety advices given by the ministry of health and World Health Organization. This advices including frequent washing of hands with running water and soap, social distancing and wearing masks is also mandatory whenever one goes out to public areas and when having flue.
Nkosi has lauded all health workers for their good work that has seen Eswatini having an enormous increase in the number of recoveries.
