Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzy Nkosi has announced an increase of 10 new recoveries and 9 new confirmed cases in Eswatini.
The total number of recoveries in Eswatini has increased to 97 while the total number of confirmed cases stands at 217.
Earlier on this publication reported that Eswatini in amongst 25 African countries with over 40% recovery rate. The number of recoveries has been observed almost everyday for the past weeks with encouraging numbers. The Minister said though this is encouraging but it does not mean once one have negative results cannot be re-infected hence continues adherence to all health precautionary measures given by the ministry of health and World Health Organization is encouraged.
On another note Waterford KaMhlaba World College students have applauded all health workers for their dedication and selfless commitment during this unfortunate times.
Nkosi revealed that the new cases comprises of eight (8) from the Manzini region and one (1) from Hhohho region. This brings the total of cases from Manzini Region to 130 followed by Hhohho region with 53 cases. Lubombo and Shiselweni has recorded 27 and 7 respectively.

The public is encouraged to continue with the precautionary measures given by the ministry of health, which include regular washing of hands with running water and soap, social distancing, wearing of musk when going out to places with more people.
Meanwhile the Minister has appreciated support from development partners: ICAP Eswatini and University Research Company (URC) as the ministry is now able to send results to medical staff and patients via emails and short sent messages (sms). Nkosi urged patients to always give accurate contact information so to allow smooth flow of all processes.
