Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzy Nkosi has announced 20 more new COVID-19 cases bringing up the total number of cases to 91.
When announcing the results at the cabinet offices Nkosi revealed that the ministry received 212 results which 182 were negative and the 20 came positive. Nkosi announced that 14 are from the Manzini region, two from Hhohho region and the 4 are from Lubombo region. Shiselweni region has not reported any new cases so far following the last two that was reported in the past week. Manzini continued to prove to be the epicenter of the COVID-19 in the Kingdom.
Nkosi revealed that 4 of the new cases are clinicians.
Nkosi further urged the public to tirelessly continue washing hands with running water and soap, continue observing social distance. “The public is request ed to cooperate with the Rapid Response Teams as they go about their duties finding contacts of the positive cases” said Nkosi.
The country has seen a drastic increase in the number of cases when the country has just revised the regulations of the COVID-19
