Mbabane – “I have international gigs lined up.”
These are the words of Eswatini-born DJ Phindile “Gifted Kosie” Dlamini who is set to start the new year in style with a return performance in India, following a wave of successful international appearances in Lesotho and other parts of Asia.
“Just to hint a bit, I’ll be starting off the New Year in India again,” she told Independent News.
Over the past month, she has performed in Mozambique, Uganda and India, building momentum on the global stage. Most recently, she headlined the Maletsunyane Festival in Lesotho, an experience she described as both energising and affirming to her artistic journey.
Gifted Kosie said performing outside Eswatini has helped grow her visibility and highlighted the increasing global demand for her sound and commanding stage presence.
Fans attending her upcoming shows can expect high-energy performances, powerful choreography and a genre-blending musical experience as she continues to push beyond borders and expand her artistic footprint.
Reflecting on her busy November, Kosie said maintaining a strong online presence has been key to strengthening her international appeal.
She added that her recent achievements have shown her that strong international performances often open doors to more bookings and warm hospitality, motivating her to confidently pursue bigger global platforms.
DJ Gifted Kosie also expressed deep appreciation for her team and supporters.
“Kind words and shared experiences from other women in the scene gave me the encouragement to keep pushing boundaries, while my management handled the complex logistics so I could focus fully on delivering my best performances,” she said.
Looking ahead, she said international bookings have created opportunities for networking, income and cultural exchange, which continue to shape her creative direction and performance style.
She also noted that different audiences across the world have unique trends and expectations, pushing her to constantly study, adapt and experiment.
