Who will walk away with the E500 000 WinaManje grand prize

Mbabane: The time has finally come as we head towards the grand prize presentation taking place on Saturday at Somhlolo Park in Manzini starting at 10am. The campaign which started in July has seen several emaSwati walk away with several prizes which included grocery vouchers, petrol vouchers, travel vouchers, school fees vouchers, data, airtime and cash among others.

At a time when people needed some sort of relief as a result of the economic climate MTN Eswatini found it imperative to not necessarily solve the problem but lend a helping hand by bringing back the spirit of winning. The pandemic had also made a devastating impact on the economy not only locally but globally which meant there was nowhere to run but hope for a change for the better.  Several people had accepted that things were getting worse by the day as some lost their loved ones, lost their jobs or faced pay cuts which was when MTN Eswatini decided to introduce the WinaManje campaign which gave people the opportunity to make a choice and take a chance at winning to change the narrative.

To be a part of the campaign the process was very simple; MTN customers needed to purchase airtime or bundles to increase their chances of winning. By simply dialing *7090# the customer was then able to check how many points they had accumulated.

The end of the campaign may be bitter sweet to many who may have taken it granted and did not think that the wins were indeed true. The WinaManje campaign previously gave away E50 000 to four winners, E100 000 to one lucky customer as well as E5000 to other lucky customers.

LOCAL GOSPEL ARTIST NOTHANDO DLAMINI WINS VOTING CHALLENGE

This comes after MTN customers were given the opportunity to vote for the artist they want to perform at the E500 000 grand prize presentation event. MTN customers were requested to vote for the artist and the venue via MTN social media platforms. This was a way of giving more control to customers and giving wins to not only the grand prize winner but also giving Manzini residents a free event as a token of appreciation for being a part of the WinaManje journey since it began.
