Mbabane: Sitsebe SaMhlekazi striker Tenanile Ngcamphalala is among the 2020 COSAFA Women’s Championships.
Ngcamphalala scored three times in three matches to attain a 100 percent scoring record. She scored one in Eswatini’s 4-2 win over Comoros in the tournament’s opener before netting a brace against Angola where the locals were defeated 3-4.
South Africa’s Banyana Banyana forward Sibulele Holweni was the tournament’s top goal scorer with eight goals. Phumzile Dlamini ended with two goals with Celiwe ‘Cece’ Nkambule and Nojabuliso Mokgale grabbing a goal each.
South Africa were crowned champions after defeating Botswana 2-1 in the finals played at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, one of the 2010 FIFA World Cup host stadiums.
