Mbabane: After worthwhile activity, Mbabane Swallows General Manager Sandile ‘Beyond 2000’ Zwane gave the impression that his side has finished with signings.
The long serving Swallows official posted a picture of himself and latest acquisitions Banele ‘Pupu’ Sikhondze and Thabo Vilakati on Facebook with the caption ‘game over’.
‘Pupu’ rejoins the ‘Birds’ after stints with South Africa’s Polokwane City and Mbombela United while Thabo, a defender joins from Moneni Pirates.
In readiness for the new season, intially earmarked to begin November 20, Ghanaian coach Christopher Ennin will be spoilt for choice.
The seven-time league winners have signed players by a bucketful in the current window, amongst others welcoming back Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu, tying future prospect Leon Manyisa, Enzo Motsa from Denver Sundowns and Nhlanhla ‘Jive’ Nkosi, who recently had a trial stint with SA Premier Soccer League side Baroka FC from Moneni Pirates.
