Lobamba – National Team, Sihlangu Semnikati Head Coach Dominic Kunene has confirmed that two of his players have sustained minor injuries but the team doctors are monitoring them in a bid to make sure that they recover in time before the AFCON qualifiers matches against Congo Brazzaville.

The players are defender Sabelo “Sawa” Gamedze and Sizolwethu “Nunu” Shabalala, and they sustained the injuries last week during training.

The national team will play their first leg game against Congo Brazzaville on November 12 in an away game and then four days later here at home at Mavuso Sports Centre.

The national team mentor told this publication in an exclusive interview at Somhlolo National Stadium where media houses had a press briefing with the team ahead of their upcoming AFCON qualifiers fixtures.

“It’s true that ‘Sawa’ and ‘Nunu’ have minor injuries but doctors are doing everything they so that the players will be available for selection before the match day. Their injuries are not that much severe though.” couch Dominic Kunene said.
