Mbabane- A nationwide promotional campaign by Instacash has culminated in a significant win for 24-year-old Khombindlela Vilakati of Luve, who has emerged as the grand prize recipient of a brand-new Toyota Quantum, positioning him for a potential transition into the transport business sector.
Vilakati, a car wash attendant from Luve, was announced as the winner during a live draw held today at Instacash offices, marking the conclusion of the “Win-a-Quantum” competition. The draw attracted thousands of entries from across Eswatini, with the final selection conducted in a transparent process overseen by a media representative.
Shortly after the announcement, Vilakati confirmed his participation in the competition, noting that he had consistently purchased raffle tickets since its launch last year October. His selection brings to a close month of anticipation surrounding the campaign.
Reacting to the media, Vilakati described the prize as a turning point, indicating that he intends to utilize the vehicle to venture into the public transport industry. The Toyota Quantum, widely used for commuter services, offers an entry point into a sector known for its income-generating potential.
“This will help me start something of my own,” he said, underscoring his intention to move beyond his current employment and build a sustainable source of income.
The INSTACASH campaign forms part of the company’s broader strategy to deepen customer engagement while expanding its presence in the local market. By linking participation to raffle ticket purchases, the initiative drew widespread interest and participation nationwide.
Vilakati is set to get the quantum before next week Friday Instacash Managing Director, Mandla “Cheeks” Nxumalo said they will communicate with Vilakati on how they will hand over the grand prize amd also go to his place at Luve.
With the competition now concluded, Vilakati’s win highlights how promotional campaigns can extend beyond brand visibility to create tangible economic opportunities at an individual level, particularly among young people seeking to enter entrepreneurial space.
