Mbabane – Eswatini’s music scene is set for a cultural celebration as Cool Drop prepares to launch his highly anticipated album Emakhaya on 31 January at Mdzimba View Shisanyama.
Presented by True Classic Entertainment, the launch will feature a mix of modern sounds and African identity. Emakhaya, meaning “home,” reflects Cool Drop’s personal journey, resilience and creative growth, marking a key moment in his career.
The event will feature performances from a long list of local artists and DJs, including M Nation, Histo, DJ Citie, Young Zesh, Prorbs, Grinder, Scueve, Culolam, Gifted Kosie, Lady Zee, Bandora, Zulu D, Mr Kangaroo, Thaifo Son, Scinzo, Nkay & Smally, Qbase, Stella Jacobs, OG King, Able Kein, Lizwe Umlangeni, and Mvuyo Lomphofu.
Resident DJs Baba, Mawillies, Matenten, Castle, Sbuda and Slimdeep will keep the music going throughout the day.
Speaking to the Eswatini Observer, Cool Drop urged fans to attend, saying, “The event will definitely be amazing. I urge music lovers to come out in their numbers to support local talent.”
Festivities start at 3PM and continue until late, with an entry fee of E50 at the gate. Mdzimba View Shisanyama provides an ideal outdoor setting for music, culture and community.
