Mbabane; Wandile ‘Wand’s’ Dladla to release first album in September titled “I Live to Worship”.
Speaking to this publication, Dladla said his upcoming album will consist of twelve (12) songs, and it will be recorded in Dem-Dem Music Studios in Matsapha.
Dladla told Independent News entertainment desk that he started singing in 2007 while, doing form 4. He disclosed that he was introduced to music by Comfort Mhlanga,who was his high school teacher by then and now regard him as a brother. “It was back then while I was still at school when I was introduced to the international gospel music genre. Comfort Mhlanga spotted me while singing in the school assembly and he took and groom me in music taking me to do piano lessons.”Dladla said.
Dladla since 2007 he have been singing in a church choir at the Free Evangelical Christian Fellowship praise team. “I’ve been a lead singer for some time but now am on the keys”, he said. Dladla said singing has been his calling since the early days. He said after discovering his calling he then searched for a way of sending the massage of the cross the modern way. He said he then felt in love with the international gospel music genre. Apart from singing, as an artist Dladla said he is a song writer. He told the entertainment desk that it has been 10 years now since he started writing songs. “I started writing in 2010 and my first song is titled “Sounds of the Rain”, he said. Dladla added that ‘Sound of the rain’ is also included in the album that he is working on.
