Mbabane – The Royal Legends Netball Team from Eswatini clinched first place at a tournament in Middleburg, South Africa, held from November 13 to 14, 2025. The team, consisting of players from Eswatini, competed against 10 other teams from South Africa, Botswana, and Lesotho.
Their victory, marked by two trophies, showcases the team’s exceptional skills and teamwork. The win was celebrated not only as a milestone for the Royal Eswatini Police, which the team represents, but also as a national achievement. National Commissioner Mr. Vusie Manoma Masango praised the team’s success, stressing its significance for both the police force and the nation.
Deputy National Commissioner of Police Ms. Simangele Motsa led the team, guiding them to the top spot. The Royal Legends are now preparing for the next challenge of defending their title in Cape Town, South Africa, in March 2026.
