BIG BEND – Premier League side Illovo FC has officially changed its name to Ubombo Sugar Football Club, marking a new chapter in the team’s journey ahead of the upcoming MTN Premier League season.
The rebranding was confirmed during a formal ceremony held at Ubombo Sugar Limited’s premises, where Managing Director Muzi Siyaya led company executives, football stakeholders, and invited guests in unveiling the club’s new name and identity. Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chairman Polycarp Dlamini also attended the event.
The club also revealed a new kit design, which players will wear as they take to the pitch this season. The kit launch is part of a broader refresh that includes upcoming technical sponsorships and a renewed focus on performance.
