Mbabane – Nsingizini Hotspurs Football Club has signed a cooperation deal with Mozambican side Black Bulls aimed at improving football development between the two clubs.
The agreement was sealed in Maputo shortly after a friendly encounter over the weekend, where Hotspurs lost 1-0 to the Mozambican giants. Hotspurs president Derrick Shiba led the Swazi delegation during the signing ceremony.
The partnership will focus on player exchange programmes, coaching clinics, sports science initiatives and joint commercial projects. Both clubs are also set to explore funding opportunities to support the agreed activities.
Officials said the deal will give players a platform to gain international experience while coaches will benefit from modern training methods. It is expected to raise standards at Hotspurs, one of the ambitious clubs in the MTN Premier League.
The MOU follows several weeks of engagement between the two clubs, culminating in the preseason friendly which also served as an icebreaker for the collaboration.
