Mbabane – The Pitso Mosimane Schools Soccer Foundation has begun a two-day mission in Eswatini aimed at laying the groundwork for a possible partnership that could transform high school football in the country.
The visiting delegation, which arrived this week, is conducting visits to four schools known for their strong football programmes as they assess local talent and explore avenues to nurture young players through structured development programmes. The visit is being held in collaboration with InstaCash, organisers of the popular local schools soccer tournament.

Schools lined up for the visit include Mhlatane High School, currently regarded as Hhohho’s strongest team, Mpaka High School from Lubombo, Manzini Central High School, champions of Manzini, and Evelyn Baring High School, who are the reigning national champions representing Shiselweni.
Driving the initiative locally is veteran football administrator Celani Shongwe, one of the founding members of the Premier League of Eswatini, who has been instrumental in youth football initiatives.
