MALKERNS – House on Fire came alive last Friday as the official lineup for the 2025 Luju Festival was unveiled, setting the stage for what organisers say will be a bigger and bolder celebration of Eswatini’s creative spirit.
The festival, scheduled for 1–2 August 2025 at House on Fire in Malkerns, is entering its seventh year and has become one of the country’s premier events blending food, fashion, music and art.
Speaking at the launch, Prime Minister Russel Mmiso Dlamini said the festival plays a significant role in nurturing the creative economy. He told guests that beyond entertainment, Luju has been instrumental in giving young people the tools, skills and confidence they need to compete locally and internationally.
Organisers shared that last year’s edition drew more than 10,000 festival-goers from 23 countries and featured 47 acts across five stages. This year’s lineup is expected to top that.
The 2025 headliners include Lwah Ndlunkulu, Sipho Hotstix, Phila Dlozi, Thando Zwane, Buhlebendalo, Iya, Siya Makuzeni, De Mthuda, Xixel Langa, Blaq Diamond, TKZEE, Sibu Manzini, and Lady Zamar. More acts are expected to be announced as the festival draws closer.
Festivalgoers can expect a blend of genres ranging from jazz to amapiano, soul, rock and pop. Alongside the performances will be fashion showcases, art installations, food stalls, and community workshops.
Early bird tickets are already on sale at discounted rates for a limited time.
