MANZINI – St. Michaels High School and Manzini Infant Primary walked away with top honours during the Cleanest Premises Competition awards held on 26 June 2025.
The Eswatini Environment Authority, together with the Municipal Council of Manzini, awarded institutions that have gone the extra mile in keeping their surroundings clean and safe as part of the city’s ongoing Environmental Safety Programme.
St. Michaels High scooped the main Cleanest Premises award, while Manzini Infant Primary took the prize in the Plastic Bottles Collection category.
The competition is part of a city-wide campaign to promote responsible waste management and encourage environmental responsibility among schools and businesses.
Municipal officials commended the participating institutions for showing leadership in sustainability and for their efforts to improve hygiene and environmental standards in Manzini.
