The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) has revealed a new logo and corporate identity, marking a significant rebranding effort aimed at reflecting the event’s cultural essence and national pride. The announcement was made during a virtual launch event held earlier today, attended by exhibitors, stakeholders, and visitors.
According to Mr. Siphesihle Nkhabindze, the official spokesperson for EITF, the redesign responds to a growing need for a visual identity that resonates with the country’s heritage and the multicultural spirit of the trade fair. “The previous logo had become outdated—it lacked the character and distinctiveness that defines who we are today,” Nkhabindze explained during the online presentation.
The newly unveiled logo draws inspiration from the iconic guca sithandaze arch at the Trade Fair grounds in Eswatini, a structure known for symbolizing welcome, tradition, and unity. This architectural motif now serves as the central design element of the rebranded identity.
Incorporating key national colors, the logo features blue to represent peace and stability, white for unity, and red to honor the country’s history and resilience. At the top of the design, the acronym EITF stands prominently, projecting international relevance while staying grounded in local culture.
Two stylized human figures with raised hands crown the emblem—an artistic representation of performers, exhibitors, and visionaries who, year after year, bring life to the Trade Fair. “They are the spirit of the celebration,” Nkhabindze added, “the ones who transform this gathering into a vibrant display of dreams and innovation.”
The revamped identity sets the tone for future editions of the EITF, as it seeks to strengthen its brand in both local and global markets.
