Day 2 of the information-sharing engagement between Namibia and Eswatini saw productive discussions and valuable visits aimed at advancing skills development. The Eswatini delegation visited key institutions, including the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) and the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), to explore strategies for improving vocational education and training (TVET).
The visits provided an opportunity for both countries to exchange best practices in TVET governance and funding models, fostering a deeper understanding of Namibia’s qualification frameworks and the coordination of higher education institutions.
Discussions also focused on Eswatini’s efforts to develop a comprehensive legal framework to overhaul its national skills development landscape, with an emphasis on sustainable funding and policy alignment. These engagements are seen as crucial in garnering support for the proposed reforms from key stakeholders.
