The Ministry of ICT, in partnership with the Eswatini Communications Commission (ESCCOM), is hosting a workshop aimed at enhancing cybercrime investigations, prosecutions, and the handling of electronic evidence.
The event, supported by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), brings together key players from the Royal Eswatini Police Service, financial institutions, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)’s Office, Eswatini Revenue Services, the Financial Intelligence Unit, and the Anti-Corruption Commission.
Cybersecurity expert Advocate Jacqueline Fick of Vizstratsolutions is leading the training, which covers digital forensics, legal frameworks, and best practices for managing cybercrime evidence. This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing commitment to bolster digital security, protect financial systems, and strengthen the country’s ability to combat cyber threats.
